Wow, 2021 is history, a New Year has started. What will happen? How many storms? We have all kinds of questions, everything is confusing. Nothing is for sure, except our Lord is the same, even though we cannot see how. He has a plan for 2022 and it has already started. He has a plan for our nation, our community, our Church, and even for all of us. God’s ways are not our ways, sometimes we wonder what is happening next, but he is not dead, nor doth he sleep. I believe he is bringing all of the sorrow and trouble to an end. Let’s just trust in him more than ever before because he has something much better for us. Don’t lose hope. Let’s work on building our faith. His will will always be done. Let’s all strive to be in the center of it. God bless us all! Bro. Danny
The new year is quickly approaching and the weather is turning colder! For many it's a time of staying close to a warm fire while sipping hot cocoa and watching a favorite movie. For others, that is far from the truth! Many are busy shopping, getting together with family and celebrating the wonderful season of Christmas. Whatever your choice, always remember that Jesus is the reason for this lovely season and we need to worship Him in all that we say and do.
If you missed our December luncheon, you missed a treat! We had a variety of finger foods and goodies and wonderful Christmas music by Bro. Danny and Mr. Jesse. Our special guest was Mary Ellen Magee (aka Mrs. Claus), a local author and storyteller. She shared several special Christmas memories and reminded us to be the light in the world that we were created to be. It was a very uplifting time,
If you have not joined us for our monthly meetings, plan to do so in the new year. You will be blessed!
