THE CENTRALITE FAMILY NEWSLETTER
“Building The Greatest Church Since Pentecost”
October 1, 2021
October means Fall is in the air. Normally during the Fall season ministry and activities around the church are engaging and moving forward. Even in the middle of another Covid variant we are still gathering, growing in our faith and relationship with others, and beginning to see how we can reach out to our community. I want to invite you to Come Back to Central and be engaged in Worship or Small Group Bible Study. For our church family who have been plugged in to our ministries, I want to challenge you to invite and bring someone who needs to be surrounded by a warm and loving church family. Kevin

MUSIC MINISTRY
As we see the news or read the paper, we realize that they’re a lot of things going on that bring uncertainty, fear, or other negative emotions to everyone. For those who do not know the Lord, it is very fearful, but to us as Christians, it is only God’s Word being fulfilled. I have seen so much prophecy fulfilled just in the last few years, that I am amazed. We need to understand that as God’s Word says, “all these things must come to pass.” Then shall the coming of Jesus takes place. We should be committed to God, grounded in our faith, and realize in our heart, that God is not asleep nor is He away. He is here and He is still God even in times of uncertainty. Let us be determined to trust in God with all our heart, soul, and mind. Let us be anchored in the fact that God is going to work all these things out for His glory and our good. Bro. Danny

Summer Camp 2022
Mark your calendars now for our Summer Camp. The dates are June 13 – 17, 2022. We are going to Generate Camp LA Tech in Ruston, LA. Watch for more details to be released over the next couple of months.
If you missed our September Young at Heart meeting, you missed a blessing! Even though we were few in number, we had a great time. Our guest speaker was Alan Lumpkin, Superintendent of PRC schools, who spoke to us about the improvements to the three campuses. Through a very detailed slide show, we were shown before and after pictures of the new additions and plans for further improvements. He also discussed two of the historical buildings on the elementary campus and plans for a future archive of the history of the school system. God is truly blessing our school district and we need to be in prayer daily for the challenges set before the administrators, teachers, staff, and students.
I encourage each of you to attend our October 5th meeting. Mr. Charlie Rogers from the Baptist Children's Home in Wiggins will be our guest speaker. We will begin a project for the Children's Home; more details will be given at the meeting.
Please remember to pray for our friends who are sick or hurting - it's the best thing we can do for them!
Love you all and hope to see you soon! Reva
